American History in 60 is a fast, laugh-out-loud comedy that takes audiences on a madcap journey through the story of America. Led by the pompous Professor Bartholomew T. Featherstone and a ragtag group of “historians,” the show races through Pilgrims Founding Fathers, the Revolution, Civil War, the Great Depression and beyond—all before the clock runs out. With pop culture mash-ups, game show parodies and sportscaster-style Revolutionary War commentary, history has never been told quite like this. Performed by area teenagers (13-18) the Ritz Teen Thespian Guild will be presenting this show as part of the 250 year Celebration of America.
