Looking for something to do on a Friday night? The National Theatre at The Ritz will host an eclectic selection of artists in an unplugged performance environment. Each Friday Night Live will feature two or three regional entertainers that may include a folk singer, a jazz musician, an aspiring singer/songwriter or some other style of artist who is passionate about the opportunity to showcase their talents.

This performance will feature the vocal harmony group “Up in the Air”, TU’s original music ensemble “ArCo” (Artist Collective, and the musical theatre cabaret group, “Spotlight,” performing a sneak preview from their upcoming show “Stories of Strength.” The show will also feature music by select individual students performing both covers and originals.
Up in the Air will perform entertaining arrangements of popular music from the 70s, 80s and 90s. ArCo will perform contemporary original music in popular and jazz styles. Spotlight performs musical theater selections from their upcoming show. Senior songwriter Kira Moore performs her original indie folk music. Senior vocalist Hansen Risley performs a variety of covers from the last four decades. And first-year student and singer-songwriter Cash Allen performs selections from his recent solo album release.
