The Guys is a timeless drama about the connections we make in times of tragedy. Paralyzed by grief, Nick, a fire captain, seeks out the help of a writer to compose eulogies for the men he lost on September 11th. Joan, an editor by trade, draws Nick out about “the guys,” revealing vivid personalities and the meaning that lies beneath the surface of seemingly unremarkable people.

Mix in two lovers on the eve of their wedding, a bumbling best man, a desperate theatre producer, a not-so-bright hostess, two gangsters posing as pastry chefs, a misguided Don Juan and an intoxicated chaperone, and you have the ingredients for an evening of madcap delight.

Peter loses control of his characters and there is a murder; the intended victim is Peter. Can Peter find the killer before the killer gets his author? Is romance with the ingenue leading anywhere?
